Way of the Dragon, Lee's 3rd martial arts film, right between Fist of Fury and Enter the Dragon, is simultaneously his only adventure in directing a movie, and also writing. Unfortunately, this is not remotely on the same league as the two above. Bruce Lee attempts a different approach here, giving more space to humour and cheesy gags, instead of fully focusing on martial arts. The movie is clunky, too unreal, and sometimes embarrassing to watch. Plus, it is set in Italy, Rome, which on this particular case totally doesn't work. There are a few scenes that became memorable for what they meant, but not exactly for their quality. Scenes such as the nunchaku weapon fight and the final fight scene in plain Rome Colosseum against Chuck Norris himself , before becoming Chuck Norris the "superstar". These are fun to watch, and iconic, but the film is so poorly directed, acted and unbalanced in both plot, pace and character writing that it can't be taken serious in any moment. The fight scenes are not even that good when compared to the jaw dropping scenes in Fist of Fury, and they take a while to finally get on screen. It is a very basic and amateur martial arts film, which is unfortunate since we're talking about Bruce Lee.
